Meetings and membership

Hartlebury History Society was formed in 1996, following an initial meeting in St. James Church, Hartlebury when a committee was established.

The function of the Society is:
To present interesting and regular speakers on a variety of topics, where possible with special reference to Hartlebury and Worcestershire, but often more wide ranging; and to research the life and times of the Parish.

The Society meets at the Parish Hall, Waresley Court Road, Hartlebury DY11 7TQ (unless otherwise stated) at 7.30 pm, on the 3rd Thursday of each month (except August and December). Details of speaker for the evening are available on the membership card, on this website and in the parish magazine.

The Society is run by an elected Committee, which meets regularly.
Research is carried out by a sub-committee and/or any interested members when topics are identified.

The Society is a member of the Worcestershire Local History Forum.
